In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll copy a SharpChart from the SharpCharts Workbench, then paste the SharpChart into a Word doc and a PowerPoint presentation.
Note: The exact chart pasting instructions may vary depending on the version of Word or PowerPoint (or other software) you are using, and we cannot cover every possible software version here, but the general idea is to paste the chart as a PNG image or picture.
Once you have configured the chart just the way you want, right-click on the chart and choose Copy Chart Image.
If you're pasting the chart into a Word document, right-click in the part of your document where you want the chart to appear and choose Paste Special.
Note: Windows users may need to choose "Paste" from Word's Ribbon and select "Paste Special" instead.
Select "Picture (PNG)" from the Paste Special window and click OK. Your chart should then appear in the document.
If you're pasting the chart into a PowerPoint presentation, right-click on a blank area of the slide where you want to place the chart, and choose Paste.
Note: Windows users may need to specifically select "Picture" from the choices underneath "Paste" in the right-click menu.
Cool Tip: If your screen is large enough, drag the chart from the StockCharts web page and drop it into your PowerPoint slide.
