Some charts deserve to be shared. In StockCharts, you can easily email a chart to someone. Here's how.
In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll email a chart to a friend from the SharpCharts Workbench.
Note: We recommend making sure you are logged in to your account before sending the email, as more email features are available to members who are logged in.
Once you have configured the chart just the way you want, click the Share button below the chart and choose "Email Chart" from the sharing options available.
Note: You can share P&F charts too; just look for the Share link that appears below your P&F chart on the P&F Workbench.
A small window will open. Enter the recipient's email address in the "Send To" field. Optionally, you can add comments or other information to be included in the email with the shared chart.
Once you've filled in this information, click the green Preview Email button.
After you click the Preview Email button, you will be able to review a preview of the email you are about to send. If it looks good and you're ready to send, just click the green Send Email button to send your email.
Note: When non-members (or those who are not logged in) click the Preview Email button, a draft of the email will be opened up in your default email program. Review the draft and make any necessary changes, then send the email from your email program. The email will not include a preview image of the shared chart - only a link for the recipient to view the chart on our website.
