StockCharts publishes a wide variety of technical market commentary articles. Many of these articles are available for free in the Articles area. A few are available to members only; these are shown with a light green background in the Articles area. Articles generally mix current market observations with charting and education.

In addition to commentary from our experts, we allow you to provide your market commentary that you can share with others. Public ChartLists are collections of annotated charts created and maintained by StockCharts users and have been made available for the general public to see. Our displays users' Public ChartLists, ranked by popularity, update date, and quality.

Commentary Articles

StockCharts publishes market commentary from a wide variety of technical analysis experts. These articles can be found by clicking Articles & Videos at the top of most pages on the StockCharts site. Choose a specific author, or choose "Our Latest Articles" to view commentary from all our experts.

Most of our articles are available to all, but some are exclusively available to StockCharts members. We offer members-only articles from technical analysis giants such as Martin Pring, plus options expert Tony Zhang from OptionsPlay. These members-only articles are displayed with a light green background in the Articles area.

Following an Article Author

To receive email notifications whenever one of our commentary authors publishes a new article, click the "Follow" button at the top right of any of that author's commentary articles. Logged-in members will be automatically subscribed to email notifications for the author after clicking the button. Non-members will need to enter their email address to sign up.

A link in the notification email will allow you to unsubscribe from future notification messages for that author, or switch to a weekly digest for that author. Please note that each author's notification list is managed separately; unsubscribing from one author will not unsubscribe you from others.
