# Managing Your Notifications

From the Your Notifications page, members can configure email notifications for new commentary articles, plus view past account notifications that have been shown in a banner on the StockCharts site.

After logging in, you can access the [Your Notifications](https://stockcharts.com/h-mem/notifications.html) page by clicking your name or the person icon in the upper right corner of our website, then choosing "Your Notifications" from the dropdown menu.

## New Article Notifications

At the top of the Your Notifications page, you can sign up to receive an email notification whenever a specific commentary author publishes a new article.

This section shows the authors that you have signed up for, and whether you will receive an instant notification each time they publish a new article, or a weekly digest email showing all their articles for that week.

Article notifications will be emailed to the email address you use to log in to your account, shown in the top right corner of this section.

From this section, you can add authors to follow, switch between instant/weekly notifications for an author, and unsubscribe from email notifications for an author.

## Site Notifications

The Site Notifications section of the page shows recent site notifications. Typically these notifications are for price alerts and advanced alerts that are configured to display a banner on the SharpCharts Workbench when they are triggered.

This can be a great place to access banners that have been dismissed from the workbench or other pages on the website.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.stockcharts.com/your-account/managing-your-notifications.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
