# Your ChartLists

The Your ChartLists page is the central location for managing, organizing, and accessing all of the ChartLists saved in your StockCharts account. From this page, you can quickly open ChartLists in different views, create new lists, and edit existing ones.

{% endhint %}

## Accessing the Your ChartLists Page

You can access the Your ChartLists page in multiple ways:

* From any page, click your name or the **person icon** in the upper-right corner and select **Your ChartLists** from the dropdown menu.
* From any page, select **Your ChartLists** from the **Charts & Tools** dropdown menu at the top of the page.

Once on the Your ChartLists page, use the **SharpCharts** and **ACP Charts** buttons at the top of the page to switch between viewing your SharpCharts ChartLists and ACP ChartLists.

## Using the ChartLists Table

<figure><img src="/files/7ivlMbAC2rY3fCURYTT9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Your ChartLists page displays a table with info on all the ChartLists saved in your account, including custom ChartLists, ChartPacks, and any special lists associated with your membership. This tabular overview of all your lists makes it easy to locate active watchlists, portfolios, and research lists at a glance.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Note:** Any Read-Only ChartLists shared with your account will appear at the bottom of the table, beneath your custom saved lists.
{% endhint %}

Each row in the table represents one of your ChartLists and provides quick access to important information and actions.

The table contains the following columns:

* **List Name:** The name of the ChartList.
* **View As:** Open the ChartList in one of several available views (SharpCharts only).
* **ChartList Reports:** Enable Daily or Weekly ChartList Reports for the selected ChartList.
* **Charts:** The number of charts currently saved in the ChartList.
* **Notes:** Any saved notes associated with the ChartList.
* **Last Modified:** The date and time the ChartList was most recently updated (SharpCharts only).
* **Actions:** Quick links for editing (gears icon) or deleting (trash can icon) the ChartList.

## Viewing a ChartList

To view the contents of a ChartList, click the list name or select one of the available options in the dropdown menu in the **View As** column.

<figure><img src="/files/Xvse3nDM81C6q8NtqcEh" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click the name of the list or select a view from the View As dropdown menu</p></figcaption></figure>

By default, clicking a ChartList name in the List Name column opens the list in Summary View. You can change this behavior by clicking the grey **Default View** button above the table and selecting your preferred ChartList view.

## Creating a New ChartList

From the Your ChartLists page, you can create a new ChartList using the **New List** button above the table. If you specify one or more ticker symbols when creating the list, charts in your default ChartStyle will automatically be created for those ticker symbols and saved to your new ChartList when it is created.

<figure><img src="/files/ThrGhxfkJMR4czHI6lZB" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click the New List button to create a new ChartList</p></figcaption></figure>

To create a new ChartList:

1. Click the green **New List** button above the table.
2. Enter a name for the new ChartList.
3. Optionally, enter one or more ticker symbols to add charts for those symbols to the list.
4. Click the **Create New List** button.

After creation, you can click the gears icon for your new list in the **Actions** column of the table. This will take you to the Edit View page, where you can add symbols and further customize the list.

## Managing Multiple ChartLists with Edit Mode

Many members maintain dozens - or even hundreds - of ChartLists. To make navigation easier:

* Use Descriptive ChartList names.
* Group related ChartLists using a consistent naming convention.
* Regularly remove outdated or unused lists.
* Keep frequently used lists organized for quick access.

To edit multiple ChartLists at once, click the **Edit** button above the table.

<figure><img src="/files/2zRAG3HCfXgSGEwmmnJ8" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click the Edit button above the table to enter Edit Mode</p></figcaption></figure>

When this button is clicked, the table will switch to Edit Mode, allowing you to take action on multiple ChartLists at once, including deleting selected lists, emptying (removing saved charts from) lists, or renaming lists.

<figure><img src="/files/BvDPB4PZrjzgGY4rqjiR" alt=""><figcaption><p>Once in Edit Mode, you can empty, delete, or rename multiple lists</p></figcaption></figure>

### Deleting Multiple ChartLists

In Edit Mode, multiple ChartLists can be deleted from the table at once. This can be useful when clearing out old and unused lists, but use this feature with caution. Deleting the list also deletes any saved charts on that list.

To delete multiple ChartLists at once:

1. In the leftmost column of the table, check the box next to each ChartList you want to delete.
2. Click the red **Delete** button above the table.
3. Click **Confirm** in the confirmation box that pops up.

### Emptying Multiple ChartLists

In Edit Mode, multiple ChartLists can emptied at once. Emptying a ChartList keeps the list itself, but deletes all the saved charts on that list. This can be useful with lists that hold charts temporarily (e.g. scheduled scan results); after you've reviewed the charts and no longer need them, they can be removed from the list with a single click.

To remove the saved charts on multiple ChartLists at once:

1. In the leftmost column of the table, check the box next to each ChartList you want to empty.
2. Click the **Empty** button above the table.
3. Click **Confirm** in the confirmation box that pops up.

### Renaming Multiple ChartLists

ChartLists must be renamed one at a time, of course, since each list has a different name, but multiple lists can be renamed from one place in Edit Mode, making the process quick and easy if you have several list names to change.

To rename a ChartList in Edit Mode:

1. Click the **pencil icon** next to the ChartList you want to rename.
2. Edit the name.
3. Click the green **Confirm** button.

## Signing Up For ChartList Reports

<figure><img src="/files/BNOHOPDZjIuuQCsFNAcA" alt=""><figcaption><p>Sign up for ChartList Reports using the checkboxes in the ChartList Reports column</p></figcaption></figure>

ChartList Reports allow you to receive scheduled email reports about the performance of the symbols saved to a specific ChartList. In the Your ChartLists table, you can quickly see which lists you have subscribed to ChartList Reports for, and make changes to those subscriptions.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Learn More:** [ChartList Reports](/charts-and-tools/sharpcharts/chartlists/chartlist-reports.md)
{% endhint %}

To enable reports for a ChartList:

1. Locate the ChartList in the table.
2. In the **ChartList Reports** column, check the box for either **Daily** or **Weekly**.
3. Choose when the reports should be delivered (e.g. at the US market close).&#x20;
4. Click the green **Confirm** button.
5. To sign up for both Daily and Weekly reports for a ChartList, repeat the steps above but check the box for the other report frequency.

To cancel a ChartList Report, simply click the checkbox to clear the checkmark.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Note:** Reports for the same ChartList must be sent at the same time; in other words, you can’t get your daily report at the India close and your weekly report for the same ChartList at the US close.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.stockcharts.com/charts-and-tools/sharpcharts/chartlists/your-chartlists.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
